Alathurpadi Dars is held at Alathurpadi Juma Masjid, a historical Masjid situated in Alathurpadi town has a history of more than 100 years with the boundless help of the natives of Mahall.
Our Dars has more than 200 full-time students and over 50 local students in between Isha-Maghrib and Morning under the supervision of four Usthads.
Alathurpadi Dars Students’ Association (ADSA) is an organization destined the multifaceted development of Alathurpadi Dars students. The association deals with many activities mandatory for the Islamic propagation in future.
Oration is a relevant medium in the field of propagation. ADSA help students to practice their skills by conducting training sessions on every Wednesdays from 3 to 6PM. besides a certain student stands for the advisory speeches every Friday for the natives of Mahall. and in alternative Saturdays, Arabic literary association, khutbah training, and wa’az training are conducted.
The pen is another important medium of Islamic propagation. Darshanam handwritten magazine published monthly is destined to up bring the hidden literary taste of students. In addition to it, Al-Zahra bimonthly is published in Arabic, Urdu and English languages.
The association is functioning a large digital library for the use of the student enriched with thousands of books, references, encyclopaedias etc. A major percentage of amounts collected by book distribution is spent for this purpose. The library consists of literary aids, dictionaries and references is a great bliss for the students. The reading room with abundant magazines and periodicals decorate the library. The Malayalam magazines Sathyadhara, Thelicham, Sunni Afkar, Al-mu’allim, English-Arabic Magazines Al-Da’awa, Arabic Magazines Al-nahda bimonthly, Al ba’thul islami, Al ra’ed urdu magazine, Nea dunya, English magazines Islam and Science, Divine path and Various Arabic, English and Malayalam books are available in the reading room. The old kuthub khana, consists of one thousand old and new Arabic texts utilized by students.
ADSA conducts weekly classes of spoken English and Urdu languages for students. It will help them to face the modern generation as English is the world language and Urdu is the Muslim cultural language and Urdu is the Muslim cultural language in world wide. Qualified teachers deal with these classes every week.
As everyone knows that it is an essential component of religious propagation in this information technology age. To fulfill this purpose the association conducts classes for the computer training every day after Asar prayer and also in Friday. A student can attend the training class one hour weekly. The association helps the students to gain certificates in IT field.
It is a fact that the students will leave dars if the SSLC level education is replaced by plus two educations. That is why a system of plus two private registration along with tuition classes was started i the dars. Besides, special coaching classes are given for the spoken English. To those students who have not passed the SSLC, the association provides opportunity for ‘A-Level’ parallel examination or secondary examination conducted by central government which can be attended privately. Also for the sake of advanced students special tuition classes are conducted by the association.
A recognized study center of the functional Arabic and Urdu diploma courses that conducted by the national council for promotion of Urdu language, the ministry of human resource development, central got. of India is running under the association and provides opportunity to join the courses, many students have passed above mentioned courses.
The association helps the students to join Jamia Nizamia Hyderabad which is the famous religious institution in south India. many students have already gained the certificate and many students pursuing the course.
Targeting the Islamic propagation and for fund raising for the progress of the organization, The association has published eleven books and two annuals. Besides, the association issues leaflets to aware and advise the mass in distinct occasions. Our publications are as follow. See that there is no balance stock for any books.
